A delegation from the office of Senator Tammy Baldwin (D-WI) visited Menet Aero during a recent trip to Wisconsin on a tour of various federal agency offices and industry partners. The delegation included National Security Advisor Lucy Perkins, Defense Fellow Steve Layden, Legislative Correspondent Nick Hodson, Army Legislative Liaison MAJ Brennan Randel, and Senate Liaison Lt CDR Drew Cavanagh.
The Aug. 20, 2024 visit included a facility tour, static displays of Menet Aero’s various tethered UAS platforms, and a flight demonstration of the Intrepid system. The delegates and Menet Aero team discussed the importance of tethered-UAS capabilities, how integral they are to meeting our military's current and future needs, and the importance of Congress supporting those needs with legislation, authorizations, and appropriations that support investment in Te-UAS technology.
